Architecture requires a complete understanding of the symbiotic relationship between micro and macro forms. Successful design comes from not only understanding cultures, climates and populations but also comprehending the reality for an individual engaging with a scheme, a collection of spaces, a threshold or a piece of ironmongery. Each part of the architecture needs to exist harmoniously, and deliver moments and interactions that will both engage and delight. A clear understanding of these ideals, and their significant relationship to one another, is of paramount importance to our design process.
